Each year the International Day of Peace is observed around the world on 21 September.The theme of this year’s commemoration is “Partnerships for Peace – Dignity for All” which aims to highlight the importance of all segments of society to work together to strive for peace. #SarakasiTrust in conjunction with other partners like the National Cohesion and Integration Commission will on Saturday 19th September 2015 have a PEACE SYMPOSIUM at the #SarakasiDome from 9am-4pm! The main event will happen on 21st September at the Nyayo Stadium,Sarakasi artists will be entertaining the invited dignitaries and the C.EO Marion aka Mama Sarakasi will deliver her speech on how Sarakasi Trust has been actively involved in peace promotion throughout the region especially in hot spot areas during the Post Election violence in Kenya through its program dubbed AMANI LAZIMA (Peace is a must).
